1. TITLE SLIDE — Your name, the title of your research essay, EGL 1010 LD17, and the date. Keep it clean and professional.
2. RESEARCH QUESTION / THESIS — One slide. Display your research question and revised thesis in your own words. This orients your audience.
3. MAIN POINT 1 — One slide per major argument. Write a headline (one phrase) and 2–3 bullet points. Do not put the full paragraph here — speak the detail.
4. MAIN POINT 2 — Same format. Include the key piece of evidence (one quotation or statistic) that is most important for this point.
5. MAIN POINT 3 (if needed) — Counterargument or third key point. Keep to the same one-headline, 2–3 bullet format.
6. CONCLUSION — One slide. What does your research prove? Why does it matter? End with a 'so what' statement — the broader significance of your argument.
7. WORKS CITED — One slide listing your 3–5 most important sources in MLA format. Shows your research foundation.
